A Prayer for Those Who Have Wronged Us

My husband and I run an online ministry that helps people on their Christian journey out of the prosperity gospel movement- a movement that proclaims that the blood of Jesus has purchased for all believers a promised life of health, wealth, and abundance in earthly pleasures. This is a dangerously false message that undermines the beauty of the finished work of Christ, which brings justification and forgiveness. The teachings in this movement can truly shipwreck someone’s faith- we ourselves were ensnared by this false teaching, so it is something he and I are very passionate to defend against and proclaim truth whenever possible.

Spring is also the time of year we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, which is the greatest hope of life we all have. There is no better way to celebrate hope and life than with singing.

Take just a few minutes each day with this 5-day devotional and allow His presence to meet you right where you are. As you reflect, may His truth quiet your heart and fill you with a deep, steady peace in the reassurance of His unending love.

We are all called to send and be sent, each of us. Through our prayers and resources, we support those who are vocationally sharing the gospel, and in our personal circles, we share the gospel as we have opportunity. A life devoted to sending and being sent is a joyful life as we watch God move in ways we could have never have planned or imagined on our own.
